PVC: The most commonly used plastic material, soft, strong toughness, good plasticity, can be made into transparent and various colors, commonly used in transparent PVC packaging electronics, cosmetics, toys and other products.
PET (A-PET): hard, tough, high strength, bright surface, environmentally friendly, non-toxic, transparent and multi-colored sheets. The disadvantage is that PET high frequency heat sealing is more difficult, and the price is much more expensive than PVC. This material is often required to replace PVC with high-grade and environmentally friendly users.
PS: low density (light weight), environmentally friendly and non-toxic, very good plasticity, poor toughness and brittleness, can not be made into transparent materials, so it can only be made into the bottom type of plastic, because it is easy to crack, such plastic is not suitable for recycling
PP: The material is particularly soft, with good toughness, environmentally friendly, non-toxic and high temperature resistant. It is often packaged as a catering appliance or other high temperature resistant product; however, it has poor plasticity, is difficult to process, has poor surface gloss, and the color changes during processing. shallow.
PET-G: Physical properties are similar to A-PET, but can be heat sealed with high frequency, which is 80% more expensive than A-PET.
If classified according to the thickness of the material:
A, ordinary thin plastic thickness is 0.14 ~ 5.0mm --- mainly used PVC, PP, PS (HIPS), PET (including APET and PETG), PE, BOPS and recyclable paper tray and other materials and effects Non-thermoplastic blister products such as folding, folding, tri-fold, cylinder, folding box, heaven and earth box, high frequency, etc., are widely used in food, medicine, electronics, toys, computers, daily necessities, cosmetics and mechanical hardware industries.

The reason why the types of materials are not classified is mainly considering that there are some differences between the materials used in ordinary thin blister and special thick blister, but PVC, PP, PS and PET are in both types of blister products. Occupy a place, called the "four kings" of the family of plastic products!
PVC hard sheet has moderate toughness, is not easy to burn, generates chlorine gas when burned, and has certain influence on the environment. PVC is easy to heat seal, and can be sealed by sealing machine and high frequency machine. It is the main raw material for producing transparent plastic products.
PS hard sheet has low density, poor toughness, easy to burn, and produces styrene gas (hazardous gas) when burned, so it is generally used to produce various industrial plastic trays.
PET hard sheet has good toughness, high transparency, easy to burn, no harmful gas when burning, and is an environmentally friendly material, but the price is high, suitable for high-grade plastic products. The blister bulbs in Europe and the United States generally require PET hard sheets, but It is not easy to heat seal, which brings great difficulty to the package. In order to solve this problem, people put a layer of PVC film on the PET surface, named PETG hard film, but the price is higher.

PVC
Divided into ordinary type and more environmentally friendly (South Asian material)
Mainly used in electroplating plants and domestic weekly transformation, generally can not be used for export, the main pollutants are 1. heavy metal arsenic, hexavalent chromium exceeded the standard; 2. halogen F.CL and other standards; 3. stupid and its derivatives exceeded the standard. It is easy to form for ordinary trays, but it is not easy to perforate for masks that are too deep and too high.
Environmentally friendly
PS
Environmentally friendly material, easy to plasticize, and easy to buy thick film on the market, the disadvantages are also obvious, brittle, weak and opaque
A-PET
Environmentally friendly materials that meet all European and American environmental requirements except for special requirements (food, medical).
And the strength is higher at the same thickness and density. The disadvantage is that the molding is difficult, the molding temperature is sensitive, and the temperature is slightly higher, the whitening is difficult to form.
Food, medical type
PP
Specially used in food and medical grade raw materials, light weight and easy to plastic molding, the disadvantage is that the lift and strength are not enough
PETG
It is mainly used for the packaging of medical equipment and medical supplies. It is characterized by environmental protection, low molding temperature and good strength. The disadvantages are also obvious. It is too sensitive to temperature. If the batch production is not careful, it will generate a large amount of scrap and the price is high.
